My car had broken down, I had to catch the bus to work. I forgot to pack my lunch, and everyone seems to be staring at me. I died, then started going insane. Call of Cthulhu is a roleplaying game based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Investigators may encounter strange and alien monsters, cosmic magic, and forgotten lore – such exposure can affect the investigator’s mind, as they become more aware of the cosmic truth their sanity diminishes. Being a hero isn’t about how powerful you are, it’s about regular people standing up against insurmountable odds and, perhaps, saving the world as we know it.
